Dude...I totally take back what I said before....
This show is for ppl who already watched the original TV series....if you want to understand the FMA world as a whole....go watch the original one and then watch this one....
there are a lot of stuff that you wont get if this is your first time watching FMA......
I feel that the childhood part is too short....I didnt feel the impact of their mother's death.....but they DID add the part from the manga where Roy and Riza went to Winry's house....and I really liked that part.....(ROY x RIZA FTW!!!!!!)
I miss the "Brothers" BGM....and Aru's monologue in the beginning....
I know they are trying to quickly pass the part that's already shown in the old version......but personally I dont mind to rewatch everything again....anyways....I hope they will get better at pacing later on~
that being said....this show is still my favorite series this season...haha....

Dude...this episode is like...never seen before.....not even in the manga.....because I read the beginning of the manga....and its the same as the original TV version....thats actually a good idea to start off the new season with another story.....so the audience wont feel like they watch the same thing over again.....
the OP is pretty good...not as hot-blooded as the old OPs but overall I like it....the ED is cute.....I think it is a combination of all old OPs.....made me feel so nostalgic T A T......

I didnt know there's an English ver. before....how lame....I just listened to it on youtube....Vic actually did a pretty good job of it....but still cannot compare with the purity of voices of the Russian children...><.....children's voices are always better than adult men/women's squeaking IMO....
dude....I even found an old fanart I drew for this show (actually thats all I drew during that time...2005? I think....kinda like how all I draw right now is CG ....It seems that I can't like multiple shows at one time.....)

I am super excited for April 10th....WOOT!....manga's plot supposed to be a lot better than the anime version....Bone's top notch animation quality+FMA's superior manga plot=AWESOMENESS!!!!
